Hello! My name is Michelle Yang and I'm a product designer currently working in Austin, TX.
Education
In college, I majored in Cornell’s Information Science program to learn at the intersection of design, emerging technology, and social impact. My multi-disciplinary education to this day is foundational to the growth of my design career.
Career
After graduating, I developed my product design career at IBM Cloud, where I created experiences for some of the most highly secure systems in the industry. Today, I design for Procore, specifically empowering construction teams to easily manage their thousands of construction documents like never before.
Mission
My mission is to create clarity in a world of complexity. Bolstered by research, systems thinking, and an iterative, thoughtful process, I strive to design products that scale, endure and genuinely empower people.
Outside of Work
You can usually find me doing yoga, birding, drawing, taking photobooth pictures, or writing (mostly unserious) movie reviews on Letterboxd.
